PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver which prevents waste of power and has high convenience.SOLUTION: A television receiver comprises: a communication unit that receives an output signal of an electronic apparatus; and a control unit that changes a power supply state of its own device to a power saving state in a short time when the communication unit does not receive the output signal of the electronic apparatus in a display mode for displaying video on the basis of the output signal of the electronic apparatus.
