Abstract:
PURPOSE:To omit a test pattern generating circuit and to attain the adjustment of convergence by storing display data for convergence correction in the memory of a microcomputer to execute picture display. CONSTITUTION:A scope display function consists of a microcomputer 2 and an IC for scope display 3, and the microcomputer 2 generates a display image signal from stored data on adjusting convergence. That, is, when a test command is given to the microcomputer 2, the scope display IC 3 is controlled, the data are read from a memory 9, and a scope display signal 4 is outputted. Then, a picture blanking signal 5 is outputted from the microcomputer 2, a scope is made dark, only the signal 4 from the scope display IC 3 is displayed, and an adjuster executes the adjustment of the convergence based on a test pattern displayed on the scope. Thus, it is not necessary to have a circuit to generate a convergence adjusting signal especially, and the convergence adjustment is attained.
