Title:
TELEVISION RECEIVING EQUIPMENT PROVIDED WITH GHOST REMOVING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3705451
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to observe pictures free from ghosts by arranging a ghost removing device in each necessary channel.
SOLUTION: Television(TV) radio waves including all channels of a VHF band and an UHF band are sent to respective TV receivers 21 through respective by-pass circuits 10. A ghost removing device M1 removes a ghost component in a radio wave of a 1st channel by a signal processing part 4 and converts the ghost-removed signal into a radio wave of a 8th channel which is not broadcasted and is different from the 1st channel including the ghost component by a modulation circuit 5. Similarly, a ghost removing device M2 converts a radio wave of a 3rd channel into a radio wave of a 10th channel. Then a ghost removing device M3 converts a 4th channel radio wave into a 12th channel radio wave. When 1st, 3rd and 4th channels in the VHF band are respectively selected on the receiver side, pictures including ghost components are respectively displayed, but when the 8th, 10th and 12th channels are respectively selected, pictures including no ghost component can be observed.
