To provide a television reception tuner with a high heat dissipation effect capable of realizing downsizing and low-profile wherein a planar size and a height are suppressed.
The television reception tuner 11 is provided with: a multilayered wiring board 14 comprising an inner layer and an outer layer each including a ground layer 14a; a tuner section 12 whose circuit is configured by mounting a high frequency semiconductor such as an IC package 12a or the like onto a lower side of the multilayered wiring board 14 (a side opposite to a mother board 10); a demodulation section 13 whose circuit is configured by mounting an intermediate frequency semiconductor onto an upper side of the multilayered wiring board 14; a metal-made shield board 15 arranged on the upper side of the multilayered wiring board 14 and at the surrounding of the demodulation section 13; and a plurality of terminals 16 arranged side by side over an outer edge of the lower side of the multilayered wiring board 14 , the height of the shield board 15 is selected equal to the height of the demodulation section 13. The shield board 15 is formed with a rib shaped projection 15b via a recessed groove part 15c, and the recessed groove part 15c is soldered to a ground layer 14a on the multilayered wiring board 14.
