PURPOSE: To improve the picture quality, by transmitting picture information obtained at a sequential scanning system after dividing it into two field information of odd and even number scanning lines, synthesizing the received two field information into one frame of picture information.
CONSTITUTION: An objective 1 is photographed at a camera 2, it is scanned and detected in the non-interlace mode and a switch 3 is changed over at each frame and written alternately in frame memories 5, 6. The switch 4 selects alternately the frame memories 5, 6 after being divided into the 1st frame information on an odd number scanning line and the 2nd frame information on an even number scanning line and transmitted after applied with coding. The picture information demodulated at a decoder 12 at the receiving side is discriminated for the field information belonging to the same frame at a pair field discriminator and written alternately in each frame into the frame memories 16, 17. A double speed scanner 18 reads out the content of the same frame memory twice, and displays it on a display device 19.
