An external contact piece 15 is provided with three connection piece 15a, tip portions of two connection pieces 15a are bent outward into elastic contact with a shield plate 17, a remaining connection piece 15a is inserted into the cut-up section 17d of the shield plate 17 through the insertion hole 19b of the insulating plate 19, the connection piece 15a inserted into the cut-up section 17d is bent, thus the external contact piece 15 and the shield plate 17 are electrically connected together. The contact area is increased by three or more connection pieces 15a, and the induction component of the impedance at the connection pieces 15a can be reduced. A coaxial connector section A and the shield plate 17 can be reliably grounded, noise resistance is improved, and the insertion loss and voltage standing-wave ratio can be improved particularly in a high frequency range.
