PURPOSE: To receive even satellite broadcasting only by one coaxial cable by executing distributing processing after amplifying a broadcasting signal.

CONSTITUTION: A ground broadcasting tuner part 12B applies a ground broadcasting wave to a channel selecting circuit 30 through a selector circuit 28, selects a required ground broadcasting channel, converts the selected channel signal into a prescribed intermediate frequency signal IF2, and outputs the signal IF2. The tuner part 12B is constituted so that the signal IF2 is amplified by an amplifier circuit 32, detected by a detection circuit (DET) 34 and then processed by a signal processing circuit 36 to receive and obtain the required ground broadcasting channel. In a television tuner 2, an input to a main antenna terminal 10A is distributed by a distributer 18 and the distributed output is outputted to the tuner part 12B. Thus both of satellite and ground broadcasting can be received by simple connection only for connecting a coaxial cable to the input terminal of the main antenna, so that connecting work can be simplified.
