This tuner is equipped with tuning circuits 1 and 4 which have 1st varactor diodes 1b and 4b and select a receive signal by varying a tuning frequency through the capacity variation of the 1st varactor diodes 1b and 3h4b and a local oscillator 6 which has a 2nd varactor diode 6b and varies in local oscillation frequency through the capacity variation of the 2nd varactor diode 6b, and voltages applied across the 1st varactor diodes 1b and 4b are made smaller than the voltage applied across the 2nd varactor diode 6b.
