Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inhibitor for inhibiting telomerase activity in a cell and a method therefor.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a telomerase inhibitor comprising a ribonucleic acid or a ribonucleic acid analog with a binding sequence length of 4-20 nucleotides that bind to CR4-CR5 or pseudoknot/template domains of the RNA component of human telomerase. The present invention also relates to a telomerase inhibition method in a cell or a subject by administering the inhibitor.EFFECT: The present invention provides therapy for a proliferative disorder in a subject.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
