PURPOSE: To compensate temperature continuously without using a substrate for a special microwave IC and by employing capacitance on the market, and to obtain an oscillator having arbitrary temperature characteristics by properly selecting the inserting position of capacitance for temperature compensation.
CONSTITUTION: The capacitance 11 for temperature compensation is inserted while proper length X is selected within the range of λ/4 from the opening end of a short-circuiting section 3. When the X is changed, the temperature characteristics of oscillating frequency can continuously be selected arbitrarily. The value of the capacitance 11 is fixed. According to this constitution, the variation of frequency based on the change of a dielectric constant due to the temperature of the substrate can be removed, capacitance is sufficient only by one and the special expensive substrate is unnecessitated.
