Title:
TEMPERATURE COMPENSATION CRYSTAL OSCILLATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3020906
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature compensation crystal oscillator with a simple circuit configuration, high practicality at a low cost.
SOLUTION: In the temperature compensation crystal oscillator where a temperature compensation circuit Z consisting of a thermister TH, a resistor R, and capacitors C1, C2 are connected in series with a crystal vibrator (x) of AT-cut that has a 3-degree curve characteristic in which a maximum value and a minimum value of a frequency temperature characteristic are existence in 2nd and 4th quadrates with respect to the coordinate system consisting of the lateral axis of temperature, the longitudinal axis of frequency and the origin of a reference temperature and a frequency at the reference temperature, the temperature compensation circuit Z consists of a 2nd capacitor C2 with a negative temperature characteristic connected in parallel with a thermister compensation circuit 2 that is made up of a 1st capacitor C1 and a parallel circuit 1 consisting of the thermister TH and the resistor R, the thermister compensation circuit 2 corrects the maximum value of the 3-degree curve characteristic into a 3-degree curve characteristic nearly symmetrical around the origin and the 2nd capacitor C2 is used to make an inclination for a prescribed temperature range nearly flat.
