Abstract:

PURPOSE: To compensate temperatures surely and simply, by providing two oscillating circuits and a beat circuit in the temperature compensation oscillating circuit using plural quartz oscillators.

CONSTITUTION: The first oscillating circuit 4 having two quartz oscillators 2 and 3 connected in parallel, the second oscillating circuit 6 including quartz oscillator 5, and beat circuit 7 to which oscillation outputs S1 and S2 are input to output S3 of difference components between respective input frequencies are provided. Respective ZTC (zero temperature coefficient) points of quartz oscillators 2 and 3 are set to different temperatures near the normal temperature. Consequently, the temperature characteristic of the first oscillating circuit 6 becomes a broad one obtained by synthesizing characteristics of oscillators 2 and 3. Meanwhile, the characteristic of oscillator 5 is so set that oscillation frequency f2 of oscillating circuit 6 at the ZTC point is lower than oscillation frequency f1 of oscillating circuit 4 and the difference f2-f1 becomes the value of 2.
