Title:
TEMPERATURE COMPENSATOR FOR GAP SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0242301
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable temperature compensation in a wide temperature range by providing a multiplier which synthesizes the output signal of detection winding and a temperature compensation signal which is calculated for temperature variation. CONSTITUTION:The multiplier 20 is interposed between the detection winding 2 and a rectifier 8 and a processing circuit 21 is connected to the rectifier 8. Further a detected voltage X which is detected by the detection winding 2 is inputted to the multiplier 20 and also a temperature compensating voltage Ec which is calculated by a temperature compensating voltage calculator 7 is inputted and multiplied. The obtained product Z is converted by the rectifier 8 into a DC current, which is then inputted to the circuit 21. This circuit 21 calculates and outputs an output voltage E from the product Z. The multiplier 20 outputs a negative characteristic signal, so even if the temperature rises, the output signal is temperature-compensated negatively to decrease, thereby reducing the gap between a stator and a mover. Consequently, the current required to float the mover decreases and the temperature rise is reduced to hold the detection signal of the sensor normal.
