PURPOSE: To ensure the operating condition of the device by stopping the driving of the device once when the temperature abnormality of the compressor is detected and re-starting it automatically after the temperature is returned to a normal value.

CONSTITUTION: A temperature sensor B, detecting the discharge gas temperature of the compressor, is incorporated integrally into the compressor and the output of the temperature sensor B is inputted into a comparating circuit C comparing the output of the temperature sensor B with a reference voltage while the comparating circuit C outputs a signal putting an output relay E ON or OFF. According to this method, when the temperature of the compressor, normally equipped in a cooling device, is increased abnormally, the driving of the device is stopped once and it may be re-started automatically when the temperature returns to a normal condition, therefore, troublesome operation, such as exchanging of a fuse or the like, will never be requested and the device may be operated surely.
