To save energy by efficiently controlling the temperature of an asphalt pipe in response to the operation schedule of a plant.
The pipe setting temperature in plant operation, the pipe setting temperature in standby and the pipe setting temperature in preheating before starting operation, are registered in advance in a pipe temperature registering part 16 of a pipe heating control device 2. Operation of one day and a time range of preheating and standby are set by several kinds as a heating pattern by taking into consideration various forms of the operation schedule, and data of associating this heating pattern to a calendar is registered in a calendar/heating pattern registering part 15. The pipe setting temperature of its day and its time is determined from the calendar/heating pattern registering part 15 and a pipe temperature registering part 16 based on a date and the time output by a calendar timer 17, and is imparted to a pipe temperature adjuster 3, and ON/OFF control of a heater 4 is performed.
