Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable a temperature control to be carried out at any optional location within a main combustion chamber in a melting furnace.
CONSTITUTION: A specified amount of combustion air 14 is supplied from a plurality of kinds of air supplying ports 7, 8 having different diameters to a plurality of locations within a main combustion chamber 4 being kept constant of a melting furnace. An amount of distribution of the combustion air 14 toward the air supplying ports 7, 8 is adjusted and an amount of distribution of the combustion air 14 toward the supplying location is adjusted while an entire amount of combustion air 14 supplied into the main combustion chamber 4 for controlling a temperature at any optional location within the main combustion chamber 4, so that a reaction time between oxygen in the combustion air 14 and combustible gas can be controlled and a combustion efficiency can be adjusted. Accordingly, a temperature control at the optional location within the main combustion chamber 4 can be carried out and a controlling characteristics of the temperature control and accuracy can be improved.
