Abstract:
To provide a conduit which can be effectively heated and may therefore be used for conveying oil in cold regions.
A flexible pipe has a multilayer structure and comprises, in order from inside to outside, following layers: an interior lining; at least two reinforcement layers made of metal; and an exterior coating. In between two reinforcement layers, there is at least one layer of a conductive plastic material. The layer of the conductive plastic material is electrically connected to both reinforcement layers, and further two reinforcement layers can be connected an electric power source.
