Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small-sized temperature controller which can control the temperature of an optical element in a high-temperature region and has temperature controllability and temperature stability by controlling the temperature of a supporting body having a plurality of components welded to each other with a brazing material having a melting point of a specific temperature or higher and to obtain a laser oscillator having excellent output stability.
SOLUTION: The heat generated by a resistive heat generating wire 310 reaches an optical element 330 inserted into a through hole 343a after the heat is transferred to a supporting section 343 through a heat transferring section 341. The heat is further transferred to a Peltier element 320 through a heat transferring section 342. While the heat generated from the wire 310 reaches the Peltier element 320, a temperature gradient which is higher on the wire 310 side and lower on the element 320 side is generated in a holder 340, because the heat is radiated. Therefore, the safety of the Peltier element 320 itself can be secured even when the temperature of the optical element 330 exceeds 200°C, because the temperature of the element 320 can be maintained at a value lower than the melting point of the bond used in the element 320 by contriving the shape of the holder 340.
