To provide a temperature-controlling plate which can be easily manufactured, does not leak a heating medium and works with high efficiency, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.
This temperature-controlling plate comprises: a tube part 20 made from a metal, which has a curved path for passing a heating medium therein; a body part 10 which has the tube part 20 embedded therein and is formed from a metal matrix composite; and a filling part 30 made from a metal, which is filled in between the tube part 20 and the body part 10. The body part 10 is formed from the metal matrix composite, so that the temperature-controlling plate 1 acquires high strength, high rigidity and low thermal expansion properties, and is lightweight. The temperature-controlling plate also has the tube part 20 made from the metal embedded therein, and can pass the heating medium in the tube part 20, so that the heating medium does not leak. In addition, the path for passing the heating medium therein is curved, which enhances the heat conductance to the heating medium and can improve the temperature-controlling efficiency. Furthermore, the filling part 30 is made from a metal, and accordingly can absorb the difference of thermal expansion between the tube part 20 and the body part 10.
