Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature detecting device capable of surely protecting a detecting part such as an infrared camera from radiant heat or floating dust, and capable of continuously detecting two-dimensional distribution of temperature in a clinker cooler through an opening in a wide range.SOLUTION: A temperature detecting device 1 installed in an opening of a clinker cooler for cooling clinker fired in a cement kiln so as to visualize temperature distribution in the clinker cooler includes an infrared detecting part 10 for detecting infrared radiation energy in the clinker cooler and generating an output signal showing an infrared radiation amount, a protection part 20 for covering almost the whole of the infrared detecting part 10, and an air-cooling part 30 supplying compressed gas into the protection part 20. The protection part 20 includes a housing 21 housing the infrared detecting part 10 therein, a window 21a provided in the housing 21, a window material 22 provided in the window 21a and having infrared permeability, and a discharge port 21b provided in the periphery of the window 21a of the housing 21 and discharging the compressed gas between the window 21a and the opening of the clinker cooler.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
