Abstract:
To obtain a lower-cost temperature detecting fiber sensor of a simpler constitution capable of detecting temperature with higher reliability than before.
The temperature detecting fiber sensor is provided with an optical fiber 1 onto which pulsating light is made incident and a thermally- actuated element means 8 to deform the optical fiber 1 by pressing part of it so as to amplify scattering light in the optical fiber 1 when sensing temperature equal to a set temperature or more.
