Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature detection device which has a "pan existence" detection function detecting existence or non-existence of a heating-target material and a temperature detection function for detecting a temperature of the heating-target material placed on the pan, and which is capable of detecting even open fault of a resistance detection element.SOLUTION: Heating-target detection means 4 is arranged in parallel between a resistance detection element 5 and resistance value detection means 10a, and an auxiliary resistance 9 for detecting fault is provided to the heating-target detection means 4 on the side of the resistance detection element 5 in series with the resistance detection element 5.
