Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature detector which can accurately measure a temperature of a rotary body without hindering the rotation of the rotary body.
SOLUTION: The detector comprises a cylindrical middle tube, a cylindrical outer tube 13, a magnet 10 held by the middle tube and the outer tube 13, and a thermocouple 7 held by the middle tube with having a temperature-measuring part 9 at a leading end faced to one end of the detector. The temperature- measuring part 9 of the thermocouple 7 is brought in touch with an outer diametrical face 31 of an outer ring 30 to be measured by a magnetic force of the magnet 10.
