PURPOSE: To obtain a temp. control device which an control surely temp. and permits easy maintenance by having a temp. sensor which can move upward and downward, an outside cylinder which is disposed on the outside of the temp. sensor and can move likewide upward and downward and a cap provided freely attachably and detachably to the outside circumference in the upper part of the outside cylinder and providing a clearance between the temp. sensor and the cap.
CONSTITUTION: The clearance 10 is made between the temp. sensor 1 and the cap 6 when a pan is not placed. the sensor 1 is not heated as the outside cylinder 5 shuts off radiation heat even if an annular sheathed heater 9 is heated. The casual operation of the sensor 1 is therefore obviated even when over-rising is prevented by the output of the sensor. The intrusion of the soup or the like spilling from above between the cylinder 5 and the cap 6 is obviated as the detector is so constituted that the cap 6 covers the cylinder 5 and that a suspending part 11 is opened outward. The cap 6 is pressed to contact with the sensor 1 and transmits the bottom temp. of the pan 12 to the sensor 1 when the pan is placed on the detector.
