Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a temperature generator in which influence of thermal expansion of a carbon heating element being heated through conduction is allayed.
CONSTITUTION: A heating pipe 10 made of carbon is provided on electrode bodies 31, 32 through a conductor 8 made of carbon. The conductor 8 is split into a plurality of sections and held while being pressed by a resilient body 9. The electrodes 31, 32 are cooled with water and conducted through electrode leads 13a, 13b. The heating pipe 10 is conducted through the electrodes 31, 32 and the conductor 8 and heated but influence of thermal expansion can be allayed through function of the conductor 8, the resilient body 9, etc., made of same material.
