To solve a problem wherein in a conventional temperature control device, humidity of discharged air the temperature of which is controlled is not controlled.
This temperature and humidity control device includes: a heating circuit side with a heater 14 to which a heating medium compressed by a compressor 18 and heated is supplied; a cooling circuit side with a cooler 16 to which a heating medium adiabatically expanded by an automatic expansion valve 28 and cooled is supplied; and a heat pump means. The temperature and humidity control device further is equipped with: a temperature adjustment control part 22 for controlling two-way valves 20a, 20b for distribution to the heating circuit side and the cooling circuit side and adjusting the temperature of air as a temperature and humidity control target to target temperature; and a humidity control part 22 for controlling spray water amount sprayed from a two-fluid nozzle 15 so that humidity of air having passed through the heater 14 and cooler 16 arranged within a gas flow passage 10 is adjusted to target humidity and for suppressing the spray water amount from the two-fluid nozzle 15 to saturation efficiency or less, and compensating moisture amount running short by a steam supply means 60 by using both of the two-fluid nozzle 15 and steam supply device 60 when moisture amount exceeding the saturation efficiency of the two-fluid nozzle 15 is supplied.
