To confirm a low temperature, a medium temperature and a high temperature in relation to a temperature indicator for displaying the temperature of a measuring object by being mounted on the measuring object such as a pipe for steam or hot water, a valve for controlling the high temperature fluid, or an apparatus.

This temperature indicator 1 has a case 2 to be mounted on the measuring object; a low-temperature side see-through part 17 provided on one end side of the case 2; a high-temperature side see-through part 18 provided on the other end side of the case 2; a temperature responsive member 10 contracted or elongated by a temperature change, whose one end side is mounted in the case 2; a movable member 9 mounted on the other end side of the temperature responsive member 10 and displaced in the axial direction of the case by contraction or elongation of the temperature responsive member 10; a low temperature display part 11 mounted on one end side of the movable member 9, and projecting toward the low-temperature side see-through part 17 when reaching a prescribed low temperature or lower; and a high temperature display part 13 mounted on the other end side of the movable member 9, and projecting toward the high-temperature side see-through part 18 when reaching a prescribed high temperature or higher.
