To provide temperature maintenance equipment which is constituted by assembling components such as a commercially-produced compressor, satisfies a client's specification and makes compatible both the reduction of power consumption and fine temperature control.

The temperature maintenance equipment 1 includes: a compressor 8 discharging a refrigerant while stopping discharging operation associated with a pressure drop of the returned evaporated refrigerant; a refrigerant circulation path 2 for circulating the refrigerant discharged from the compressor 8; a heat exchanger 6 for exchanging the heat of the refrigerant; and a buffer tank 9 provided along a route in the middle of the refrigerant circulation path 2 from the heat exchanger 6 to the compressor 8 where the buffer tank 9 temporarily receives the evaporated refrigerant generated at the heat exchanger.
