Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably measure the temperature of a briquette being a treatment object at high accuracy in a reduction furnace reducing the briquette while moving.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for measuring the temperature of a briquette on the basis of an imaged image which is output from an imaging unit provided at the observation window of a reduction furnace reducing the briquette while moving a hearth and represents the brightness distribution of the briquette in the reduction furnace. The method includes: a step of extracting the low brightness part in which a brightness value is a prescribed first threshold or below from the imaged image; a step of calculating a stray light contribution ratio fwhich is a ratio of a solid angle at which the stray light is incident to the low brightness part, to the solid angle 2π of a hemisphere from the shape information representing the shape of the extracted low brightness part; a step of extracting as a temperature measurement portion, the portion in which the calculated stray light contribution ratio fin the extracted low brightness part is a prescribed second threshold or below; and a step of calculating the temperature of the temperature measurement portion from the brightness measurement value of the extracted temperature measurement portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
