Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a improved method and device for measuring temperature accurately that can be widely applied to the temperature measurement of a liquid, a gas, or a solid that are heated to a temperature for generating radioactive rays that can be detected from a surface.
CONSTITUTION: A true image is created from a selected region by a camera 1 that is focused on an object for generating radioactive rays, an electrical signal corresponding to the intensity of a number of color constituents of radioactive rays is withdrawn from the image, and the withdrawn signal is processed to measure the object temperature.
