Title:
TEMPERATURE MEASURING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6373123
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent contact of a material, whose temperature is to be measured, with a shielding tube, to avoid damage and to make temperature measurement highly accurate, by moving the shielding tube in a furnace freely with a respect to the material, whose temperature is measured, and making the interval between the tip of the shielding tube and the material, whose temperature is measured, always constant. CONSTITUTION:A shielding-tube moving device 9 is connected to a shielding tube 4 through a piece of wire 10. The shielding tube 4 is moved with respect to a material 1, whose temperature is to be measured. An interval 11 is made constant. A rotary angle detector 18 is provided on a motor shaft 9-1. The present position of the shielding tube 4 is obtained by a shielding tube position circuit 19 based on the detected circuit output. The rotary angle of a motor shaft 13-1 when the tip of a detecting rod 12 comes in contact with the material 1, whose temperature is measured, is detected 16, and the position of the surface is held 20. A set position value l1-l3 is obtained based on a preset interval 17 l3 and a position l1 of the material, whose temperature is measured and which is held 20. The device 9 is driven by the difference [(l1-l3)-l2] between the set value and the present position l2. The l2 is controlled 21 at (l1-l3). Thus the interval between the shielding tube 4, in which a temperature measuring mechanism is provided, and the material, whose temperature is measured, is made constant.
