To provided a device for measuring the temperature of the turbine blade of a gas turbine engine as well as an optical switch used for it.
The temperature measuring device includes a plurality of optical detectors such as a pyrometer and a spectrometer, and an optical switch 22 for selectively guiding the radiation from an inspection hole of the turbine engine to an arbitrary one optical detector along the common line of sight. The optical switch 22 includes a first block 32 and a second block 34 and the optical detector is arranged in the second block 34. Between the first and second blocks, a rotor 31 is so fitted as to rotate around the axial line of rotation while an optical fiber cable 76 is installed which has a first end positioned on the axial line of rotation and a second end positioned outside the axial line of rotation. The second end of the optical fiber cable 76 is selectively arranged adjoining an arbitrary one optical detector by rotation of the rotor 31.
