A temperature notification system includes an electronic apparatus 3 and a terminal control part 6 for performing predetermined processing when a card type terminal 2 is removed from the electronic apparatus 3. The system includes: a temperature detection part 4 for detecting a temperature of the card type terminal 2, and a notification part 5 for performing a predetermined notification operation when the temperature detected by the temperature detection part 4 has reached a predetermined notification temperature. The terminal control part 6 includes a processing control part (termination processing control part 7) which, if the detected temperature has reached the notification temperature, temporarily suspends the predetermined processing till the detected temperature becomes lower than the notification temperature.
