To provide a temperature regulator capable of regulating a hydraulic fluid temperature and requiring no control to vary power transmitted from first rotating members to second rotating members.
The temperature regulator for a hydraulic transmission includes: the first rotating members 9, 11 and the second rotating members 12, 15 which can transmit power by the kinetic energy of a hydraulic fluid supplied to a hydraulic fluid chamber A1; a first oil passage 28 connected to the hydraulic fluid chamber A1 and making the hydraulic fluid supplied to the hydraulic fluid chamber A1 pass therethrough; and a second oil passage 26 making the hydraulic fluid discharged from the hydraulic fluid chamber A1 pass therethrough, and the power of each first rotating member 9, 11 is transmitted to each second rotating member 15, 12 by the kinetic energy of the hydraulic fluid. The temperature regulator is provided with a heat-exchange mechanism 33 transmitting the heat of the hydraulic fluid passing through the second oil passage 24 to the hydraulic fluid passing through the first oil passage 28, and changing heat exchange efficiency.
