Title:
TEMPERATURE-SENSITIVE PELLET TYPE TEMPERATURE FUSE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006286307
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a new and improved temperature-sensitive pellet type temperature fuse in which an operating temperature can be set in a relatively high temperature region of 250°C or more by an inorganic temperature-sensitive material for which an organic material is not used.

A movable conductor 20 having the center contact part and a star type peripheral contact part besides a permanent magnet 10 in a switching functional member housed in a metal case envelope 12, a spacer plate 22, and a spring body 24 of a compression spring are included. The metal case envelope 12 is constituted of a paramagnetic or an anti-paramagnetic metal, and a first reed member 14 is constituted of a ferromagnetic metal member. By this, normally a strong magnetism acts between the permanent magnet 10 and the first reed member 14 and makes between both reed members conducted, while at an abnormally high temperature, by setting the operating temperature in the vicinity of Curie temperature of the temperature-sensitive member, spring force of the spring body is added to the reduced magnetism, a movable conductor is made to move, and an electric circuit is shut down.
