To provide a temperature sensitive valve that can be made into a reliable valve closing state by crushing a scale with a strong valve closing force applied to a valve body even when the scale is adhered to a valve port.
The temperature sensitive valve comprises: a valve body 17 for opening/closing a valve port 51; a holder 6 for holding the valve body 17 at a bottom end; a valve rod 10 coupled with the holder 6 and moving in an axial direction integrally with the holder 6; a temperature sensitive driving body 8 for driving the holder 6 according to temperature of fluid F; and a body housing the valve body 17, the holder 6, the valve rod 10 and the temperature sensitive driving body 8, and having a flow inlet and a flow outlet of the fluid F. When the holder 6 moves in a valve closing direction by the temperature sensitive driving body 8 during a valve closing operation and the valve body 17 comes into contact with the valve port 51, a gap exists between the bottom end of the valve rod 10 and the valve body 17. When the valve body 17 is raised from the valve port 51 while sandwiching foreign matters S between it and the valve port 51, the bottom end of the valve rod 10 comes into contact with the valve body 17 to press the valve body 17 in the valve closing direction.
