Abstract:
To reduce the weight of a radio temperature sensor, to miniaturize it, and to mount a temperature sensor function to an electronic tag constituted by an antenna of an electric wave type at low cost.
In the radio temperature sensor, an antenna made of a shape memory alloy is used, the antenna made of the shape memory alloy recovers the antenna shape at a temperature of a transformation point or higher, and the effective gain and polarization wave of the antenna vary. Temperature variation is detected as the variation in the effective gain and the polarization wave of the antenna.
