Title:
TEMPERATURE SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05142064
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To monitor at all times, to maintain superior durability, to reduce the change with time and to directly detect the temperature change of a conductor. CONSTITUTION:A U-shaped permanent magnet 12 is attached at the opening part of a case main body 11 made of non-magnetic material. Temperature- sensitive magnetic bodies 13, 14 which change from the ferromagnetic state to the paramagnetic state in accordance with the temperature change are bonded to the magnetic poles N, S of the permanent magnet 12. An optical fiber 15 is guided into a room 16 inside the case main body 11. A minute pipe 17 of a magnetic body is mounted at the end of the optical fiber 15. When the temperature-sensitive magnetic bodies 13, 14 are in the ferromagnetic state, the ray from the optical fiber 15 enters an optical fiber 19. On the other hand, in the paramagnetic state of the temperature-sensitive magnetic bodies 13, 14, the ray is not allowed to be incident on the optical fiber 19.
