Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temple joint structure of a spectacle frame which is connectable in spite of non-brazable materials and is freely adjustable in the length of temples.
SOLUTION: The temple 4 is connected to a wraparound endpiece 3 via a hinge 5 and the inner side of a temple end is provided with a guide groove. The one hinge piece 8 of the hinge forms a guide 11 slidably fitted to the guide groove and is provided with a slit groove 12 from the front end of the hinge piece 8 to bisect the guide 11. The hinge piece has a threaded hole 13 in the intermediate part and a screw 14 is screwed into this threaded hole 13 to widen the width of the slit groove 12, by which the guide 11 is fixed to the guide groove.
