Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3067635
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary abutment for which abutment concrete can be disintegrated and removed easily without requiring much labor and many hours.
SOLUTION: This temporary abutment 1 for pier is equipped with temporary shoes 3 juxtaposed along a main shoe 2 and PC steel bars 6 for temporary tightening pierced through the temporary shoes 3 for connecting a pier 4 to a main girder 5. Each of the temporary shoes 3 has abutment concrete 7 and a form 8 for fine grained bodies to be attached to the entire periphery at the head of the abutment concrete. The form 8 for fine grained bodies is filled with fine grained bodies 9 and covered at its upper face with a top plate 10. Silica sand in a uniform grain size and being small in predicted settlement while being free from solidification after laying of load is used for fine grained bodies 9. On disintegrating and removing the temporary abutment for pier, the form 8 for fine grained bodies is removed, making the fine grained bodies 9 gush from the side, and load releasing is made for the abutment concrete 7.
