PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary closing structure capable of improving construction efficiency when forming a work space required for work of an underwater structure.SOLUTION: A temporary closing structures 1A-1C form temporary closing spaces S1-S3 on the periphery of weir columns P1 and P2, and comprise a partition wall part 11 having first and second installing end parts 13 and 14 to be installed on the weir columns P1 and P2 and forming the temporary closing spaces S1-S3 by extending in a circular arc shape so as to cover a part of the weir columns P1 and P2 and a connection water cutoff part 12 arranged in at least one between the first installing end part 13 and the weir columns P1 and P2 and between the second installing end part 14 and the weir columns P1 and P2, connecting the partition wall part 11 to the weir columns P1 and P2 and cutting off water between the partition wall part 11 and the weir columns P1 and P2. The connection water cutoff part 12 comprises a receiving part 26 fixed to the weir columns P1 and P2 and a pressing part 27 fixed to the partition wall part 11 and pressed to the receiving part 26.
