To provide a temporary frame device for construction that can simplify the structure of an elevating device by omitting a guide sleeve of the elevating device requiring extremely high rigidity and minimize local stress transmitted to a temporary post.

This temporary frame device for construction is provided with one or more temporary posts 2 erected in a prescribed position and added upward one by one according to the increase of construction height of a building; an elevating device 3 provided with a plurality of guide rollers 3d, 3e arranged around the temporary posts 2 inserted through liftably through the guide rollers 3d, 3e, and provided with elevating jacks 3c; and a roof frame 4 supported by the elevating device 3 to cover the whole upper face of the building. The roof frame 4 is arranged above the elevating device 3. All the guide rollers 3d, 3e are thereby positioned on the lower side of the roof frame 4.
