Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert a tool holder to the rearmost of a main spindle by hand even when fitting the tool holder by hand, by decreasing the energizing force of a temporarily retaining means in fitting the tool holder onto the main spindle by hand.
SOLUTION: At the time of fitting a tool holder T by hand, only a spring 9a whose force is low works upon a sleeve 8, therefore, the sleeve 8 is retreated by the thrusting-into movement of the tool holder T to move a fulcrum P1 to the inclined surface 3b of a cam part 3. When the fulcrum P1 moves to the inclined surface 3b, the rear end of a collet 2 is extended. In addition to extending of the rear end of the collet 2, the force of leading the tool holder T into the main spindle 1 is energized to the tool holder T.
