To provide a temporary road construction method using sand bags by which a temporary road can be constructed even in a rugged place and by which the temporary road can be constructed without influencing on the soil where the temporary road has been constructed.
In the temporary road construction method, a temporary road 14 is constructed with sand bags 7 in a lower place than roads 2, 3. In a scheduled area 1 where a scheduled temporary road 14 is constructed, after a large sheet 10 than the scheduled area 1 for the temporary road has been spread, sand bags 7 are spread repeatedly on the sheet 10 within the construction scheduled area 1 for the temporary road and the sand bags 7 are piled up to get a height nearly equivalent to the road 2, and the peripheral edge of the sheet 10 is folded up to cover the side face of the whole body of the stacked sand bags 7.
