To achieve a work environment capable of securing safety of an existing scaffold in a method of suspending a new scaffold assembled on the ground and adding it onto an existing scaffold precedently assembled when assembling a temporary scaffold.
A jig for suspension is used for assembling a temporary scaffold in which standard-sized tubular leg post members each provided with engaging holes penetrating in the lengthwise direction in its outer peripheral surface and standard-sized horizontal structural members laid on the adjacent leg post members. The jig for suspension includes a fitting member of which upper part is an insertion part to be inserted into the engaging hole of the leg post member, in which an engaging hole reception part is formed at the middle part, and of which lower part is a foundation part with a through-hole for a suspension engagement tool formed.
