Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary shaft of a linear motion guide device which can obtain an effect for preventing the damage of a side seal, and can be easily and stably connected to a guide rail.SOLUTION: A temporary shaft for a guide rail 2 has an inclined part 20 at an end part in a longitudinal direction. The inclined part 20 has inclined faces 20a, 20b which become small in dimensions as separating from faces with the upper face 22 and both the side faces 21 of the guide rail 2 as starting points. A recess 10 which the inclined part 20 enters is formed at an end face of the temporary shaft 1. The recess 10 has sidewalls of the inclined faces 10a, 10b with an upper face 12 and both side faces 11 of the temporary shaft 1 as starting points. A lower face 10d of the recess 10 is opened.
