Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary toilet in which the moisture in wooden chips for night soil treatment in a digestion tank is surely evaporated and which is capable of most adequately holding the moisture content thereof. SOLUTION: This temporary toilet 10 has a housing 12 which is so formed as to allow man to enter and leave the same, a toilet bowl 16 which is installed in the housing 12, the digestion tank 26 which is disposed below the toilet bowl 16 in communication therewith, the wooden chips CP for night soil treatment which are housed in this digestion tank and in which microorganisms for digestion of night soil live, an agitation mechanism 34 for agitating the wooden chips CP for night soil treatment and a heating mechanism 62 for heating the digestion tank 26. The temporary toilet further includes a dehumidifying mechanism 80 for promoting the evaporation of the moisture of the wooden chips CP for night soil treatment by blowing hot air from above into the digestion tank 26.
