To provide a tennis racket which is free of an odd feel in its appearance and shape, is wide in a sweet area and has high strength.
A face part 2C of the tennis racket 1C has an outer peripheral edge of a round shape and its inner peripheral edge is provided with parts 7 to 10 of an approximately rectilinear shape in its face top and face part bottom as well as face part sides. The lengths of the extended guts between the parts 7 to 10 are evenly unified and the sweet area is widened. Since the outer periphery is round, there are no corner parts where stresses are extremely concentrated and the strength of the tennis racket is enhanced. The four corner parts of such face part 2C are provided with reinforcing wires F extending in a circumferential direction.
