A head part 12 surrounding a ball hitting surface F is continuously formed in a cross sectional shape in which the thickness TF of a cross section is ≥20 mm, the width WF of the cross section is ≥13 mm and the ratio WF/TF of the width WF to the thickness TF is within the range of ≥0.5 and ≤0.9, and also it is formed so that the cross section thickness TF1 and the cross section width WF1 both become maximum at the side part A of the maximum horizontal width position of the ball hitting surface F. A shaft part 14 connecting the throat part 13 of the racket frame 11 and a grip part 15 is continuously formed in the cross sectional shape in which the ratio TS/TF1 of the thickness TS of the cross section of the shaft part 14 to the maximum cross section thickness TF1 of the head part 12 is within the range of ≥1.0 and ≤1.3.
