Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the resilience and the controllability of a tennis racket such as the surface stability and the operability and reduce the weight of the tennis racket at the same time.
SOLUTION: In a head part 3 surrounding a hitting face F and a part of a throat part 4 of a frame 2 made of a fiber-reinforced resin of the racket, the elastic modulus of the reinforcing fibers is set from 35t to 45t, the fiber angle of the reinforcing fibers is from 0 to 10 degrees in the longitudinal direction (axial direction) of the racket frame 2, the weight of the racket frame 2 is from 100 g to 280 g, and the absolute value of the difference &verbar F1-F2&verbar of the secondary natural frequency (F1) in the outer direction of the hitting face and the natural frequency (F2) of the strings is set from 0 Hz to 100 Hz.
